Bespoke Bottle Co is more than just your standard e-commerce store. We are all about celebrating life's beautiful and cherished moments, placing emphasis on culture, love, and the joining of two families as one.
In this piece, we speak to our past bride, Stephanie Pavic, as she details how she met her now-husband Tomislav, and the importance of their shared Croatian heritage in dictating certain details of their big day. Bespoke Bottle Co had the honour of producing their rakija bottles for their wedding. Rakija forms a big part of Croatian wedding celebrations, and it wouldn't be a Croatian party without it! They recently also welcomed their son (the first baby from a Bespoke Bottle Co couple!) and we truly couldn't be happier for them.
Firstly, how did you and Tomi meet?
We met at a Croatian concert - Marko Perkovic Thompson back in 2016
How did Tomi propose?
We took a random trip down south to Huskisson for the weekend. We went for a walk to one of my favourite spots in the National Park and he asked me to marry him! I was so shocked and honestly had no words.
What was your favourite part of wedding planning? Any advice for future couples?
My favourite part was seeing it all slowly come together in the final month. Some advice that Tomi himself told me was that the day is about us and celebrating us. You can’t please everyone and if you try you’ll just make yourself unhappy and cause unnecessary stress. He also said ‘You can’t control every minor detail and if the flowers get delivered and they are red, just go with it’
What did you fill your bottles with and why did you choose Bespoke Bottle Co to be part of your special day?
We filled our table bottles with rakija (obviously not a Croatian wedding without it). We knew we wanted to have rakija for our guests but didn’t know the smartest way to do it until we came across Bespoke page and loved the designs. I remember it being no joke 6 weeks out when we were messaging you and you made it happen for us! You were one of the nicest and easiest people we dealt with which made our lives a lot easier!
ŽIVJELI!
