In this piece, Bespoke Bottle Co speaks to our past couple, Alec and Chelsea, who got married in 2024 in a beautiful Macedonian wedding celebration. Their wedding was filled with tradition, love, and classic touches that made their wedding so luxurious and a celebration of their culture. It was so important to Chelsea that she incorporate Rakija, a traditional Balkan brandy typically made from fruit, into their special day. Their guests loved it, and their Rakija bottles were custom made to suit the rest of their wedding suite and stationery.
How did you and Alec meet?
Alec and I met many years ago at our soccer club!
How did Alec propose?
Alec proposed at the beach on Boxing Day in front of what felt like hundreds of people
What was your favourite part of wedding planning? Any advice for future couples?
My favourite part was seeing all the little bits come together perfectly on the day. My advice would be make every small detail special for the two of you.
What did you fill your bottles with and why did you choose Bespoke Bottle Co to be part of your special day?
We filled our bottles with Rakija that Alec and my uncle made. We knew from the moment we started planning that we wanted little rakija bottles as our bonbonniere. I did a lot of research and couldn’t find anyone that could do what we were after at a reasonable price. We were about to change our plans but then your page popped up on my Instagram and I’m so grateful it did! Bespoke made our dream come to life and made the whole experience so fun and easy!
It was such a pleasure working with Alec and Chelsea. Thank you so much for allowing Bespoke Bottle Co to do your Rakija wedding favours. ŽIVELI!
